The role of the estuary
Enhanced with gold, the tear in the label traces the course of the Gironde estuary at the latitude of the estate. It pays tribute to the foundational and enduring role of water—yesterday in the depths of the terroir, today within the vineyard itself—protecting it from the harsher extremes of the climate.
This raw, sincere cut expresses the estate’s relationship with nature: deeply respectful, attentive to a land shaped by the river and the elements. It evokes a calm, majestic force, essential to both the terroir and the wine.
